Consortium of Ethiopian Human Rights Organizations (CEHRO) conducted a dialogue and discussion workshop to communicate agenda issues of IDPs for the consideration of Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission. The event was held on 24 October 2023 in Addis Ababa. Prior to this workshop, CEHRO has conducted a research study on IDPs rights to participate in political processes, held a series of consultation workshops and delivered capacity building trainings for IDPs, host communities and state stakeholders in four regions (Oromia, Amhara, Somali and Benishangul Gumuz regions). CEHRO also published two policy briefs with actionable recommendations (please read the policy briefs here: https://cehro.org/report-publications Informed by the findings of the research and consultation outcomes, CEHRO collected, identified and compiled agenda issues of IDPs for Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission’s consideration. A total of 30 individuals representing different stakeholders attended the event and contributed their part to further enrich and consolidate the identified agendas.
