Capacity building training for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), State Stakeholders and host communities. Thematically, the training covers Human Rights, IDPs rights, Conflict Management and Peace Building.
In collaboration with National Democratic Institute, Consortium of Ethiopian Human Rights Organizations (CEHRO) delivered two days capacity building training (on 29th and 30th March 2023) for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), State Stakeholders and host communities at Adama city, Oromia region. Thematically, the training covers Human Rights, IDPs rights, Conflict Management and Peace Building. The main objective of the training was to equip these stakeholders with the knowledge and skills of the above-mentioned issues so as to enhance IDPs political participation in issues of national concern such as post conflict reconstruction, peace building and national dialogue process.
More than 40 participants attended the training, and throughout the training sessions, participants shared their stories, lived experiences, and suggested ways of meaningful participation on issues of common concern.
